Field Training in Clinical & Practical Skills (in Community Medicine)

Introduction

PGIM appoints NIHS to held “Field Training in Clinical & Practical Skills (in Community Medicine) Module for trainees in Community Medicine” for one month period in every year to gain experience with regard to clinical procedures that is pertinent to field practice. Trainees are expected to complete a portfolio during the practical training at NIHS. The purpose of the Portfolio is to document and reflect on his/her training experience enabling trainees to identify and rectify deficiencies in the expected competencies. Recognition and analysis of practical events experienced during the training period will help them to adopt better field practice in the future.
