About the Audio Visual (AV) Unit
The Audio Visual (AV) Unit of the National Institute of Health Sciences (NIHS) is dedicated to delivering high-quality visual and auditory solutions that support the institution’s educational, training, and promotional objectives.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive audio-visual technical support to the entire main institution, as well as all its affiliated branches and centers. From managing state-of-the-art multimedia equipment to ensuring flawless event execution, we bring clarity, engagement, and professionalism to every institutional program.
Our Core Services
Institutional & Affiliated AV Support
We offer complete audio-visual assistance and technical solutions across the main institute and all its affiliated training centers and units.
Equipment Provisioning & Management
We supply and manage all necessary multimedia and audio-visual equipment (including sound systems, microphones, projectors, and recording gear) required for institutional events.
Event Setup & Optimization
Our team handles the end-to-end technical setup, preparation, and configuration of AV systems, ensuring that event venues are fully optimized and tailored for successful programs, workshops, and ceremonies.
On-Site Technical Assistance
We provide real-time, on-site technical support during live sessions, lectures, and conferences to ensure seamless operations and zero audio-visual disruptions.
Printing Section
As an integral branch of the AV Unit, this section efficiently manages the vast printing needs of the institution:
- Examination Material Production: Printing official examination papers with the highest standards of confidentiality, security, and print quality.
- Book Printing and Binding Services: Handling the production of textbooks, course modules, and practical guides, including high-quality printing and professional binding.
- Administrative Forms and Stationery: Supplying day-to-day official forms and templates utilized within the institution, such as leave applications and overtime (OT) claim forms.
